1. Q: Does it cost anything to join the text club or receive any of the offers on this page? (No, you only pay your normal text messaging rates, so be sure to check those before you text. Unlike some other text services & contests, we do not charge extra fees to participate).
2. Q: How do I redeem coupons through these offers? (In most cases, shortly after you text the keyword for the offer you choose, you will receive a "confirmation" text from the webmaster with your coupon. You do not need to print out the coupon, simply show the message to the staff at the participating business-show them the confirmation message on your phone- to redeem the coupon or take advantage of the special offer).
3. Q: How many times can I take advantage of the offers? (Most offers will have a limit of one per person. However, some offers can have differing rules & conditions, so be sure to check with the participating business for more specific questions about the offers listed here).
4. Q: How many messages will I receive if I respond to the offers listed here? (Not many. In most cases you will receive an initial "confirmation" message that includes your "coupon" for use at the participating business, as detailed above. You may periodically receive other offers & messages that we think you will be interested in).
5. Q: How can I STOP messages from coming? (Easy. We're not interested in any unhappy listeners or customers. If you decide you'd rather NOT receive any more messages, there are several ways to tell us. To opt out of receiving alerts, you can: reply (text) the word STOP, then a space, then the keyword of the offer you originally responded to. For example, if you text in for an offer for discounted shoes at 'shoes99' and later choose NOT to receive advertisements from the shoe store, text STOP shoes985 to the number you sent the original text message to (usually 51684). Or, send an email to textclubhelp@firstmedianc.com with instructions that you wish to be opted out of email/text club alerts. If at any time you are unsatisfied with these avenues, call the station offices during regular business hours (M-F, 9am-5pm).
GENERAL CONTEST RULES
Contest specifics may vary from contest to contest. No substitutions. Prizes may change without notice. No cash value. No purchase necessary. One winner per household every 30 days. Must be 21 years of age or older to win (unless otherwise specified). Final decision on all matters will be made by First Media Radio air talent (for on-air contests) or by First Media Radio officials on hand (for live "on-location" contests or other types of prize drawings). By calling the contest line or filling out an entry blank at sponsor locations or online, contestants acknowledge that their name & voice may be put on the air. Station is not responsible for phone signal problems, disconnections, or other technical phone or computer related problems. For certain contests, it may be required that an entry is accompanied by appropriate contact information. Station is not responsible for incomplete contest entries, or entries that arrive without appropriate contact information for us to notify the winner. Station has the right to disqualify anyone who attempts to gain advantage by purposeful repeated entries in any contest. Prizes must be picked up at the First Media Radio office at 12714 E. NC 97, Rocky Mount, NC 27803, Monday though Friday, from 9am-5pm, within 30 days of winning, unless otherwise specified. Unclaimed prizes may be forfeited after 30 days or other specified date, in which case there is no promise of a substitution prize. Employees of First Media Radio, LLC and associated sponsors are not eligible to win.
For "text club" promotions, cellular service is required & your normal text messaging rates apply. If you are not aware of these rates, consult your cellular phone service provider before texting. For internet/email based contests & promotions, internet access and/or a valid email address is required. You are responsible for the provision & maintenance of all facilities required to access these services. By registering for the "text club" or other offers on this site, you may occasionally be sent alerts about offers, contests & events we think will interest you.
